Who we are

The Texas Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is an insurance trade organization comprised of the farm mutual companies that provide property and casualty coverage for the people of Texas. Since 1936 we have given our members a shared platform for advocacy, education and fellowship — helping community-rooted insurers stay strong, informed and heard.
Any farm mutual company licensed and operating under Chapter 911 of the Texas Insurance Code may join. Together, our members protect homes, farms and ranches in communities across the state.

We monitor insurance issues at the state and federal level and give members reliable communication to legislators, regulators and our national organizations — plus the Legislative Committee, Congressional Contact Program and TAMIC PAC.

Our annual Convention & Seminar brings management and board members together for legislative updates, technical sessions and networking — with continuing education and National Association support.

Eligibility
Chapter 911 farm mutuals
Any farm mutual company licensed and operating under Chapter 911 of the Texas Insurance Code may become a member upon approval by the Membership Committee.
